Sara Foster - Beneath the Shadows - March (date and venue to be confirmed)
Sara lives in Western Australia with her husband and young daughter. She has worked as an editor in the publishing industry in both London and Australia for many years. Her first novel, Come Back to Me, reached No. 10 on the SMH Fiction bestseller list in February 2010.

Sara’s new book, Beneath the Shadows pays tribute to the gothic tradition, with nods to some all-time classics such as Rebecca and Wuthering Heights. However, it is also a thoroughly modern tale of a young woman’s strength in the face of incessant hostility and doubt, in the hope that she can find what she needs to set herself free. When Grace returns to the isolated Yorkshire moors, she is determined to find out why her husband disappeared there a year earlier, abandoning their baby daughter on the front step. But instead she encounters a world where clocks seem to stop and start of their own accord, locals talk blithely of ghosts, black dogs foretell of death, and an intimidating neighbour seems overly suspicious of her. Is Grace losing her mind, or does the truth run deeper and darker than she ever imagined?
