Event Highlights ... Adam Liaw & Rachel Caine

We were fortunate enough to host two events recently. Firstly, Adam Liaw (2010 MasterChef), came to the Plaza and cooked his delicious version of Chicken Teriyaki. The Teriyaki Glaze can be found in Adam's cookbook, Two Asian Kitchens. Adam explained that recipes in the Old Kitchen section of his book represent the traditional dishes of his family history...hawker noodles, Japanese yakitori, sour and salty Malaysian laksa. The New Kitchen features modern dishes that draw on Adam's memorable flavours and experiences of his own life as an Australian migrant. View event pics HERE


The dynamic and entertaining Rachel Caine also visited us at the Point Cook library. Rachel had a number of die hard fans mesmerised when telling her life story. Rachel was kind enough to answer many questions from the people that had come along to the event. She also spent time signing, talking and taking pictures with her fans. View event pics HERE
