Ever wanted to film your own documentary but don't have the funds? Well, now here's your chance. ABC Director of Television Kim Dalton has announced a further $400,000 funding will be made available for young documentary makers under round five of the triple j TV docs initiative. ABC TV and Screen Australia are once again putting out a nationwide call to emerging filmmakers to submit proposals for one-hour or half-hour documentaries.
Many of these films have gone on to win awards and appear in festivals in Australia and overseas. Previous triple j TV docs include the award-winning 5 Lost at Sea; Rock ‘n’ Roll Nerd; Searching 4 Sandeep and Playing in the Shadows.
