Tomorrow I am attending the official launch of Side by Side - A Season with Collingwood. Coming from a family of die hard Collingwood supporters, I am very excited about the prospect of rubbing shoulders with the likes of Mick Malthouse, Nathan Buckley & Eddie McGurie. The book has been authored by Peter Ryan who spent 2009 ensconced in Collingwood's inner sanctum and has seen first-hand the personalities, pressure, discipline, ambition and compassion that drive the club. It was a wild ride as Collingwood chased its first premiership since 1990, a test of character, brains and strength.
